ECMDA 2007 Conference
Third European Conference on Model Driven Architecture®
Foundations and Applications

Model-Driven Architecture MDA® is an initiative proposed
by the Object Management Group (OMG)
for platform-generic software development. It promotes the use of
models in the specification, design, analysis, synthesis, deployment,
and evolution of complex software systems. ECMDA-FA is dedicated to
furthering the state of knowledge and fostering the industrialisation
of the MDA methodology.
The 2007 conference is organised in two tracks of interest dealing with
the foundations and applications of MDA. There will be additional
workshops, a consultancy corner, and tools exhibitions on these
subjects.
ECMDA-FA 2007 is the third ECMDA conference.
Haifa
Haifa is the third largest city in Israel, situated on the slopes of
Mt. Carmel. It is a multicultural city, and the world centre of the
Bahai religion. Haifa is also the home of the Technion Israel Institute
of Technology, Haifa University, and a developed hi-tech industry
sector including the research and development sites of IBM, Intel,
Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, and other multi-nationals. The weather in
Haifa in June is warm with temperatures in the mid 20's. Tourist and
historical attractions include the spectacular Bahai gardens and
temple, Elijah's cave, and the monastery at Stella Maris - home of the
Carmelite order. |
