In this work we perform a stability analysis for a class of switched linear systems, modeled
as a hybrid automaton with one discrete state. We assume that the guard on the transition is
a switching surface in n-dimensional space and the reset map is a projection onto some subspace of n-dimensional space.
We define necessary and sufficient conditions for stability of 2-D switched linear systems.
We present an LMI analysis, based on existence of quadratic Lyapunov function, which gives sufficient conditions to guarantee stability for higher demential switched systems.
